The Abbasid Caliphate's vast territory, stretching from North Africa to Persia, allowed for an extensive trade network. The caliphate was strategically located at the crossroads of Asia, Africa, and Europe, facilitating the exchange of goods, ideas, and culture. Trade routes flourished, and cities like Baghdad, Basra, and Kufa became key commercial hubs.
